A regional distribution company operating a fleet of 75 vehicles was losing money due to inefficient routing, high fuel costs, and lack of real-time visibility into their operations. Dispatchers relied on phone calls and manual tracking to manage deliveries.
The Challenge
Fleet operations faced multiple challenges including manual route planning leading to inefficient delivery paths, no real-time visibility into vehicle locations, high fuel costs due to suboptimal routing, difficulty meeting delivery time windows, and limited data for performance analysis and optimization.
Our Solution
We implemented an integrated fleet management platform that included deploying GPS tracking devices across all 75 vehicles, implementing AI-powered route optimization software, creating real-time dispatch dashboard for operations team, establishing driver performance monitoring and coaching tools, and integrating with customer systems for delivery notifications.
